Refund & Return Policy Overview
At Cool Space Shading, we stand behind the quality of our custom shading solutions. Our policy is designed to protect both our customers and our business while ensuring fair treatment for all parties involved.
All custom orders are made to your exact specifications and measurements. Due to the personalized nature of our products, we have specific guidelines regarding refunds and returns.
No Refunds or Returns on Custom Orders
All custom-made shading products are final sale. Because each order is manufactured specifically to your measurements and specifications, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on custom orders.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Custom-sized shade sails
- Made-to-measure awnings
- Personalized color selections
- Custom hardware configurations
We encourage all customers to carefully review their measurements and specifications before placing an order.
Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately within 48 hours of delivery. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
To file a damage claim, please provide:
- Photos of the damaged product
- Photos of the shipping packaging
- Your order number
- Description of the damage
We will either replace the damaged item or issue a full refund at our discretion after reviewing the claim.
Our Mistakes
If we make an error in manufacturing your order (wrong size, wrong color, wrong specifications), we will take full responsibility.
We will provide a replacement product at no additional cost to you.
Manufacturing errors include:
- Incorrect dimensions from your approved specifications
- Wrong color or material shipped
- Missing components or hardware
- Defects in workmanship
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order if you believe there has been a manufacturing error.
Customer Measurement Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements. We manufacture products based on the exact specifications you provide during the ordering process.
If a product does not fit due to incorrect measurements provided by the customer, we cannot offer a refund or free replacement. However, we may be able to offer a remake at a discounted rate.
We strongly recommend:

- Contacting our support team if you have questions
- Considering professional measurement services for complex installations
Order Changes
Once an order has been placed and confirmed, changes may not be possible as production begins immediately.
Order modifications:
- Contact us within 24 hours of placing your order if you need to make changes
- We will do our best to accommodate changes before production begins
- Once production has started, changes cannot be made
- Cancellations after production begins may incur a restocking fee

Warranty
All Cool Space Shading products come with a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
Warranty coverage:
- Fabric defects and premature fading
- Hardware failures under normal use
- Seam and stitching failures
- Manufacturing defects
Warranty does not cover:
- Damage from improper installation
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from extreme weather events
- Damage from improper care or maintenance
